Why I Created Model for a Day

Hi, I’m Anna Kalyta.

After more than 15 years photographing people, one thing became clear:

The images families treasure most aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the ones that preserve a season of life.

I created Model for a Day because graduation deserves more than documentation. It deserves intention, confidence, and a way to preserve the chapter your family is about to leave behind.

This experience was designed to slow time — just enough — to celebrate who your teen is right now.

Before the shoot, we plan intentionally.

We talk about:
• who your teen has been
• what matters to them
• sports, arts, passions, and personality
• how to design looks that make them shine

This is where the story is shaped.

2. The Model for a Day Celebration

A full, unrushed day dedicated entirely to your teen.

• Hair & makeup (camera‑ready, age‑appropriate)
• Styling guidance and multiple looks
• Fully guided posing (no awkward guessing)

My teen is shy. Will this work?: Yes. Most teens start unsure. Everything is fully guided — posing, expression, and pacing — so they never feel lost or forced.
What should we bring?: We plan everything together during your consultation so you feel prepared and confident.
Can family be included?: Yes. Connection portraits are an important part of this transition.
When do we receive our images?: You’ll return for a reveal appointment where we select and design your final artwork together.
Do you offer prints or just digital images?: We offer both! We include a high resolution digital image with every image you decide to purchase.
